Ο Ρόρυ Μακλίν / Rory MacLean είναι ο συγγραφέας δέκα βιβλίων περιλαμβανομένων των βιβλίων Stalin’s Nose, Under the Dragon με τις καλύτερες πωλήσεις στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και πρόσφατα το βιβλίο Berlin: Imagine a City, που ανακηρύχθηκε Βιβλίο της Χρονιάς από την Washington Post. Έχει βραβευθεί από το Συμβούλιο του Καναδά, και το Συμβούλιο Καλών Τεχνών της Αγγλίας καθώς και με το Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship, και προτάθηκε για το Διεθνές Βραβείο Λογοτεχνίας του Δουβλίνου impac. Rory MacLean is the author of ten books including UK bestsellers Stalin’s Nose, Under the Dragon and recently Berlin: Imagine a City, a Washington Post Book of the Year. He has won awards from the Canada Council and Arts Council of England as well as a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship, and was nominated for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary prize. His works have been translated into a dozen languages and are among those that ‘marvellously explain why literature still lives’, according to the late John Fowles. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, he divides his time between Berlin, Dorset and London where he is writer-in-residence at the Archive of Modern Conflict.
