Onur Selamet was born in Istanbul. He graduated from Marmara University, from the Faculty of Arts – Cinema and Television Department. He worked in various short and medium-length films. In 2017, he received an award for his movie Mayk, which he wrote and directed, and was screened at various festivals. His stories have been published in magazines and fanzines. He works as editor-in-chief for the culture and art website Kayıp Rıhtım.
