Irene Noel-Baker studied Ancient Greek and English Literature and worked in publishing before training and working as a clinical psychologist. Her translations from Greek include psychoanalytic works, history, architecture, short stories, and novels. Her translations of Plato are published by the Aldeburgh Bookshop.
